Walked on 20th Nov. 2005 for Autism Awareness
Hi !
The walk held on 20th Nov. was a great success.Celebrities present at the walk were Mr Harsha Bhogle , Ms Mini Mathur. Doctors present were Dr Vibha , Dr, Anjali and Dr. Purnima.Myself was present alone as my wife got wounded just one day before the walk and could not join.Pricipals in charge of the special schools in Mumbai and heads of various child care centre took part in the walk.
The ballons were silently screaming "Know Autism" and exactly at 6.00 PM several hundreds of such ballons were made free in the air which were going above the sky as the ballons were filled with light gas.
The most amazing part was that the number of attendents who took part in this event , it was whooping 747 ( Seven Hundred Forty Seven ) people took part for this walk.
Tremendous press coverage were there from all national and local newspapers and TV chanels , including Radio City live.
We also got a petition signed by several present over there for our demands , which will be subsequently sent to Ministry of HRD.
Thanks to all concerned who made such nice event got happened.
